Taking courses on a part-time basis can be done informally with "guest student status" or toward the pursuit of a formalized program. In-person graduate courses are conveniently offered in the evenings from 6-9pm, and there is an on-line course offered each Fall and Spring semester. Summer options include two courses offered during a July-term on our Spain campus and the possibility of on-line coursework.

Coursework is based on "content" in the broad field of 西班牙语 studies, including the study of linguistics, cultural studies and literature from Spain and 拉丁 America. Coursework in these fields improves skills that are highly valued for educators: general knowledge of the 西班牙语-speaking world, 批判性思维, 文本分析, and advanced writing.
